Monthly Music: May 2025

I’ve been keeping track of my monthly music charts for 15 years thanks to a lovely little website known as last.fm. I enjoy seeing how my tastes evolve and what artists or songs were bringing me joy through certain stages of my life.

This month I chose to revisit some artists that I was listening to previously and hadn’t listened to in awhile. I’m glad I did because Light’s new album, A8, was really good. It was an instant repeat for me. I was never the biggest Demi Lovato fan but I have to admit that her last few two albums were right up my alley. Some reviews on Weezer’s SZNS project had me thinking it was going to be garbage but Autumn and Summer have been on repeat ever since I discovered them earlier this week.
